My Motivation!

Good morning! It's FINALLY Monday & I am really looking forward to getting back in the gym today! It has been 1 week ago today since I have worked out & it has really felt WEIRD!!! Like...... I have been missing something...... &  I have! I am happy to say that I did not gain a pound! Yay! But I'm not just wanting to maintain my weight, I am trying to put on a little muscle mass while maintaining my same size.  I don't mind seeing the numbers on my scale go up slightly (because I know that muscle weighs more than fat ) but I want some of my measurements to increase & others to stay the same or decrease. I want to stay in the size I am in but look better & feel firmer in my clothes & in the tanks & shorts I so dearly love because.... before you know it, it'll be time for those every day! This week off from training gave my body a time out so it'll be "tricked" (so to speak) to work harder w a new routine & hopefully trigger the results (faster) that I am after! I got a new training split together (it's 5 days) & I will be posting it later. I am also going to be increasing my calories & keeping up w my protein intake more closely to make sure I am getting enough. I am a hard gainer (it's hard for me to put on muscle) so it'll be tough but I am going to give it everything I've got! I will be celebrating my 35th birthday April the 6th so that is my goal date! My goal?......a flatter tummy, more shapely legs & arms (especially my shoulders) & let's not leave off the ever sought after tighter tush we all strive for!  I am GOING To WEAR (that's determination, can you tell?!) .....I take that back..... to ROCK a pretty little dress that i look better in at 35 than i ever did at 25! So, with that being said....... I'm going to get my gym face on!!
