Monday's Workout

Ladies, let's talk about working out! If you don't workout now & are not familiar with lifting weights & regular cardiovascular activity, you need to change that! I wanted to share the training program I am on with you. It's Jamie Eason's Live Fit Trainer. You can find it on Bodybuilding.com & I will post the link below but there are also lots of other training programs available on that site along with meal plans, recipes, protein powders & bars & so much more! It is a great site & one of my favorites! Check it out for all of your fitness needs!
Yesterday was the beginning of week 2 in Phase 2 of the Live Fit Trainer. There are 3 phases altogether. I am also posting the weights I lifted. Here is the workout:
Arms, Abs & Cardio
(1 minute rest between sets)
biceps:
barbell curl- 30 lbs 3 sets of 10 reps
*overhead cable curl- 15 lb 3 sets of 10 reps
*cable hammer curl w rope- 25 lbs 3 sets of 10 reps
alternate dumbbell hammer curls- 15 lb 3 sets of 10 reps
(*supersets-perform both exercises in a row, then rest for 1 minute. repeat twice)
triceps:
skullcrushers- 20 lb EZ bar 3 sets of 10 reps
seated dumbbell tricep press- 20 lb 3 sets of 10 reps
tricep pressdown w rope- 25 lbs 3 sets of 10 reps
abs:
(30 seconds rest between sets)
bicycle-3sets of 25 reps on each side
jacknife sit up- 3 sets of 10 reps
roman chair (knees to chest)- 3 sets of 10 reps
*30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical
